Willow park seniors
Willow Park Church is an intergenerational church with a rich heritage. Are you 55+? Here are some ways you can get involved here at Willow Park Church.
// TUESDAYS @ 6:30PM
hymn sing
From October–November and January–May, we meet Tuesdays at 6:30 PM in the Hwy 33 Auditorium to sing hymns, choruses, and gospel songs led by an all-star worship team. Services are streamed live and available on demand through our website and YouTube. Open to all generations, it’s a joyful and uplifting time of worship together.
// WEDNESDAYS 12-2PM
GAME ROOM
This weekly drop-in Wednesday afternoons runs from noon – 2pm in the Fireside Room at Hwy 33. It starts with a light lunch of soup and buns and continues with a great time of board games, card games, bingo, carpet bowling – or just relaxing and visiting while enjoying the complimentary coffee, tea, and baked goods. Feel free to bring along family or friends of any age to join in on the fun.
// CREEKSIDE CAMPUS
Good friends fellowship
Good Friends Fellowship is for anyone 55+ at our Creekside campus in Lake Country. We meet for fellowship and enjoy a variety of activities – guest speakers, table games, picnics, outings, hymn singing. Newcomers are welcome to just come along but if you get in touch with Phyllis beforehand you will receive an email with details of this month’s gathering.
// MONDAY MORNINGS @ HWY 33
MCC Blanket meeting
Every Monday morning, a group of ladies from Willow Park Church meets in the Fireside Room to make quilts for Mennonite Central Committee, which distributes them worldwide for disaster relief. For over forty years, they’ve created thousands of quilts—over 2,500 in the last decade alone. The ministry is also a chance to connect and enjoy fellowship. No sewing experience is needed—everyone is welcome, and the team is happy to teach!
