We can celebrate because yes, we reached the $50,000 target, which means $100,000 for “Hope for Kelowna.” Isn’t that fantastic? How good is God? And even you know, Monday night we had over 1000 people come through our church for the Fall Festival. It was amazing.
Let me remind you that this weekend I’ll be preaching and I’ll be preaching on the question of healing. If you ever wondered how healing works, a lot of Jesus’ ministry was healing. He asked questions to people who were sick. “Do you want to be well?” He approached them. He was questioning towards them. And often miracles happened. And how does that work today in our society? How do we engage in healing? What are the questions to ask, what is the process? What is the theology behind healing ministry? So this weekend we’ll be looking at that and of course, we’ll be pleased to pray for people after the service for those that would like prayer for healing, as we are talking about healing. So come prepared.
Can I remind you that we are now looking for volunteers for Living Nativity. Go online. Sign up for volunteering for Living Nativity. Also, we have a spectacular banquet for all volunteers, past and present, here at Willow Park Church so that we can celebrate you on November the 12th. It’s a fabulous event. We’re going to dress up, there’s great food. We want to say a big thank you to all the volunteers at Willow Park Church. And maybe you haven’t volunteered yet, and now it’s time. Well if you go and sign up and become a volunteer or sign up for Living Nativity, yes, you can come to that dinner and you can enjoy that evening, that spectacular banquet that we are running on the 12th of November.
I’ll see you this weekend. Let’s pray into healing. And let’s explore these questions about healing. Thanks so much.
