Willow Park Church, what an exciting weekend is coming up.
Of course, we’re in the middle of 21 Days of Prayer and what a fantastic time this has been with the devotions, with the morning live-streamed events, our pastors leading the prayer. Very, very exciting. And of course, opportunities to fast, praying for your three areas that you’re believing God for.
This weekend I will be preaching on perseverance, how we keep going. You know, in this day and age, so many people are losing their direction in faith. So many have lost that purpose, have fallen away from church and it’s almost as if the enemy is cheering us to give up, cheering us to stop. So, I’ll be talking, for the next two weeks, about the key to perseverance and how we can move forward.
Now, let me remind you, 21 Days of Prayer, this weekend’s message on perseverance, and then “The Hiding Place” on the 26, 27 & 28th. We’ve already got over 1600 people booked in with the free tickets. It’s going to be a presentation of the clear clarity of the gospel. It’s going to be a great way to invite your friends and your family to this event. If you haven’t got tickets, book right now, get involved, come and join us and invite those people around you that may be on the edge. Those who maybe haven’t made that decision for Jesus. Let’s be bold and see how God answers our prayers.
After we’ve done “The Hiding Place” the one thing we’ll be talking about is that an Alpha group will be starting. And so you’ll be able to invite friends and family, even yourself. Perhaps you think it’s time to be part of an Alpha group in-person. More information below in the email and check it out. Follow the links to “The Hiding Place.” Follow the links to Alpha. Get involved in winning our community to Jesus.
Keep the prayer going. Listen or read your devotionals. Hey, January’s never dull. Last Monday was what they called “Black Monday”, the most depressed day of the year. I don’t believe in “Black Monday.” I believe that every day is glorious with the Lord Jesus Christ.
See you Sunday morning at 10:30.
