Hello Creekside family. This is Pastor Jeremy with a quick video message for you.

Well this past Sunday was the Block Party and it was a great success. Thank you to all who stayed and partaked and helped out in the Block Party. It was great to see our church fellowshipping with one another, but also fellowshipping with those and communing with those who came from around the church. It was a success. It was exciting. There was snow cones that were ate and there was kids bouncing on bouncy castles. Again, an amazing opportunity for us to just invite people in and just to let them know who we are. And so, again, your participation in this was huge and we thank you so much, I thank you so much for it.

This past Sunday, we talked about the value of church and it was about being the hands and feet, being out in the community, evangelizing. And evangelizing looks different. It’s by word and by deed. Obviously we share what Christ has done and share the testimony of our lives. But there’s also this deed that we do, this act that we just need to be present. And truthfully, when we are discipling, it all starts with that hospitality. Because how do people know about Christ if you’re not opening up, if you’re not inviting people in. And so it’s exciting that we were able to do that this past Sunday and to be what we talked about just earlier in that service. And so again, thank you so much for your participation.

And this Sunday we will continue talking about the value of church as we look at discipleship and how we can use our gifts to disciple. And that’s what we’re called to do, to disciple those around us. Might be a handful of people. For some of you, might be many people. But we’re called to draw people close, to teach them, so then they can then draw people close and teach them also.

So, “Plan to Protect.” If you work with children or youth, we’re going to have a quick “Plan to Protect” meeting, recap, refresher. We need you there. It’ll be about an hour. Tamara Welsh is going to come out. So please, stay after service on Sunday, we’ll start right away. There’ll be lunch provided for you. So if you work with youth or kids we need you there this Sunday.

So hope to see you Sunday. Thank you so much for your participation this past Sunday.
