Hello Creekside family. This is Pastor Jeremy with a quick video message for you.

Well hopefully you are enjoying and engaging in our 21 Days of Prayer. This past Sunday we started a new sermon series looking at answered prayers throughout the Bible. We looked at the story of Hannah as she continued to pray for the Lord to bless her with a son. And many years had passed before she saw this prayer answered. My encouragement through that sermon was, what are those prayers that, you know, maybe you have been waiting to hear an answer from the Lord for a long time. Or maybe you’ve lost hope a little bit. Or maybe you feel the pain of even just asking the Lord for that again. And so I encourage you as we enter into these 21 Days of Prayer to pray bold prayers. To take to the Lord those things that maybe you feel are a bit barren, that feel a bit lost. And so hopefully you feel encouraged by that message. If you missed it, you can watch it on this email link or you can click on the link on this email to watch that sermon.

This Sunday we’ll continue in the series of looking at answered prayers through the Bible. So I hope to see you there this Sunday.

In a couple of Sundays, on January 22nd, Chris Wiens and Morley and Val and Al are going to share from their time in Guatemala that they had in November and December. So hopefully you can make that. It’s going to be an awesome service where we’re going to get to hear about the mission that’s happened there.

Also some other things that are coming up is that well we have started our “Warm-hearted Wednesdays” this Wednesday. And so it’s going to be happening every Wednesday from 1 to 3, so I encourage everyone who’s feeling you know, that the long winter months are starting to take a little bit of toll on them, to come to have some fellowship with people within our church. This is for everyone from little kids to anyone who is at home during this time who would like just to come to fellowship, have time together. It’s going to be an awesome time where you can just enjoy company.

Also, we are going to have our Baptism Class on January 29th after our service. So if you’re interested in being baptized you can sign up for the class on this email, there’s a link. And then we’re going to have our baptisms on February 26. So you can start planning for those. If you are interested in being baptized, wanting to know more information about it, or what the process is and how this is going to look, our Baptism Sunday service, I encourage you to sign up to for our class on January 29th.

Well hopefully you are enjoying our 21 Days of Prayer. I pray that it’s been impactful as you’ve begun this new year. We are excited that we can do this as a church family. There’s something beautiful that happens within our congregation and within our personal lives and within our community when we pray like this. And so continue to push in, continue to come to the Lord with those bold prayers that you have been waiting to continue to bring to him throughout your life.

And so, again, see you this Sunday.
