Hey Willow Park Church. Have I got some good news for you!

You know we’ve been raising money for “Hope for Kelowna” and we have been seeking the Lord and praying for the welfare of our city and planning evangelistic outreach to see the good news of Jesus proclaimed throughout our beautiful city. Well, we are there. We have just raised $50,000 for the outreach! But with matched funding, that means we’ve raised $100,000 towards blessing Kelowna, towards evangelism and outreach, towards bringing hope to our city. And that’s what we’re going to be about over the months to come. We are going to keep bringing hope.

Gosh, on Monday night we had 1,053 people come through our building for the Fall Festival. Well done team! It was amazing to see all of the families and I was there that evening, and I would say that probably 80 of those that came through the building were directly from the community. They were our community who don’t regularly attend church who came through the building. It was amazing to interact and share with them the goodness of God. So thank you for your prayers. Thank you for being willing to be a light in our community. Now, we want to pray, we want to pray that that group of people will of course engage in Living Nativity.

Let me remind you now that free tickets for Living Nativity are now available online. And can I also remind you that we are now seeking volunteers for Living Nativity. If you can volunteer, that would be absolutely fantastic.

But on the theme of volunteering, if you have ever volunteered at Willow Park Church in any of our campuses, or you are signing up to volunteer and please do that for Living Nativity… and signing up to volunteer in any area of our church, we have a spectacular banquet, black tie, special evening. It’s going to be amazing. We are going to enjoy a time of celebrating our volunteers. So go online, sign up and volunteer for Living Nativity. Then go online and join our Volunteer Banquet for the 12th of November, where we’re going to thank you and celebrate. Oh, I know the menu, It’s going to be amazing! So please, we want to thank you for being such amazing volunteers and we want to celebrate all that God is doing. And we’re going to continue for mission. A lot more information down below in the email about all that is taking place.

But thank you for your generous support. We made it $100,000 for “Hope for Kelowna”. Praise God!
