This year we are excited to offer an amazing opportunity for everyone across our Willow Park Church Network. We are thrilled to announce that we have partnered with one of our fine BCMB Camps, Pines Bible Camp, and are offering a 2-week window where Willow Park Church attendees can book a site and GO CAMPING!
Location & Dates
Pines Bible Camp is located at 10005 North Fork Rd (near Grand Forks).
Camping is available between July 5-16 (2 night minimum). We will have planned activities for all ages during our "weekend retreat" July 9 -12. Check-in is at 2 pm and check-out is at 1 pm, daily.
There are 18 RV sites with full hookups available for $23/night. These sites are reserved for RVs or trailers/tent trailers only please. There are 20 tenting sites available for $10/night. There are 13 cabins available for $35/night (July 9, 10 & 11 only). Campsites are limited to 10 people per site and there must be at least one adult registered per site (when registering, this person is called the "Primary Adult".)
What is there to do at Pines Camp and around Grand Forks? Pines Camp offers many fun activities for you to enjoy such as rock climbing, archery and a magnificent ropes course for both the big kids and the small kids. (Extra charges will apply for some of these activities, payable to the camp when you are there.) There are hiking and biking trails that are accessible throughout the camp. Granby River is right by Pines Camp so bring your favorite inflatable for a float down the river. Christina Lake is 30 minutes from the camp and offers a wonderful beach to enjoy. Or, drive into Grand Forks and get ice cream and experience the attractions in that city.
Although many will choose to bring their own food while camping, catered meals are also available from Pines Bible Camp at $27/day per person. On Saturday and Sunday July 10 & 11 we will have a BBQ Dinner available at $5 per person. (For those who are paying for the meal plan, this BBQ dinner is included, so you don't have to pay for it again.)
What's Church Camp Like?
We hope your time at camp will be relaxing and refreshing. We want to promote community and spiritual refreshment and recognize that stepping away from our busy lives into God’s creation is a perfect way to do that. If you have booked during the week you are free to plan and do as you please. We will offer some evening campfires and devotional times if you want to join.
The weekend of July 9-12 will still be low-key but we will offer more programmed activities for kids and youth, a morning chapel time and evening worship & campfire. Please be assured that we will be following the BC health guidelines with all of our gatherings and activities.
We are hoping that many of you will join us at our Church Campout this year!
If you have any questions about our Church Campout or need assistance with registering, please contact the church office at 250.765.6622 or email Janelle.
