I have a lot of people telling me what to do each day. Some I have to listen to, like the Boot Camp School Crosswalk mom close to my house, who steps halfway into the street waving a SLOW DOWN sign and barking orders to the 6 year old clinging to the orange cones. Some some depend on me, like my kids who don't always realize that the food on the table means money out of my pocket. And some I choose to ignore, like the salesperson who thinks I would look really good in a Snuggie and need a Slap Chop.
So coming to church and having someone else tell you to "Walk This Way" might not come off so well. I get it. But what I also get, is that it just isn't anyone telling you to, it's the Master Servant. It's the one who came down off his throne, put his crown aside, put on a pair of sandals and showed you and I exactly how to walk. The most incredible part of this deal, is that the choice is up to you.
