Hold onto your seats this weekend as we look at the Parable of the Talents in Matthew 25:14-30. This month teams from all over the world are bringing out their best foot balling (also known as soccer) talent for the World Cup 2010. Our TV’s are full of goal scoring players, screaming crowds and bad opinions. (Go England Go!!!)
However, is this what this parable is all about? Is it all about our natural talents enabling us to score in life’s game or is it something much more? What happens when God gets a hold of your life and gives you new gifts and adventures to fulfill?
Do you want to hear the words spoken: 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!'
As followers of Christ we all want to be faithful servants, bring a smile to Gods face and share the Masters happiness.
