How much has the Lord done for you?
Over the past three weeks we have heard about sowing on concrete, tending soil and sailing storms.This Sunday we will be exploring an amazing story, a story about pain, loneliness, loss and we will meet dark powers at work in a life. It is a story that at first glance we may feel no connection to; however, that would be a mistake.
We will follow a narrative of a man who is lost and helpless and out of control. He is in total darkness and torment; Jesus frees him with his love and compassion. This man is restored and then is given a task, to tell his story around the camp fires and villages of his area.
'Go home to your family and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you'. So the man went away and began to tell in the Decapolis how much Jesus had done for him.
And all the people were amazed.
