The 2010 India Christmas VBS team heads out very soon on December 20 on their journey to Northern India to spend Christmas and New Year's with the children of the Shanti Niketan Children’s Home in Subathu. Although they won't be travelling by sleigh pulled by reindeer, they will be bringing gifts for each child, worker, and returning graduate.

This is where you can help! We want to raise enough funds to purchase gifts for each child, worker and returning graduate!

$40 will cover one of these gifts and bless a child/graduate/worker in Northern India with much needed items like socks, pens, toques and scarves. Along with that the gifts will contain FUN things like toys, candy and other surprises! We encourage you to give as much as you are able, whether it be $5 or $100. Every little bit counts!
 
Any money that is raised over and above the cost of the gifts will go to the general India Missions fund to be used for the benefit of the ongoing ministry to the children of Northern India.

We are accepting financial donations toward the Child of Mine Christmas Campaign beginning December 4.

Please note that due to shipping costs and baggage space we will not be receiving any donated items for India. Please know that your donated funds will go far and that each child, graduate and worker at the Homes in India will receive age and gender appropriate gifts!

HOW TO GIVE

Starting December 4 you can give toward Christmas in India as you would give any other weekend  - in the offering taken during the services by cash or cheque in an envelope marked Child of Mine Christmas Campaign. Please make your cheques out to ‘Willow Park Church’, and write Christmas in India on the memo line.
 
On December 4/5, 12 and 18/19 we will have a special Child of Mine Christmas Campaign display at all of our communities where we will continue to receive donations.
 
Our first 200 donors will receive a special token of our appreciation. You can pick up your gift at the Christmas in India table on the 4/5, 12 or 18/19.
 
You can also give at the Church Office midweek (Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.).
 
All donations to this campaign are tax-receiptable so make sure you provide us with your full name and address!
