Metro Central in the news

Metro Central is now open! 9 am - 4:30 pm Tuesdays and Thursdays. Downtown 1470 Water Street. Come by and have a coffee, use the art studio, prayer room, community kitchen or spend time in the urban garden!
I was recently interviewed by BC Christian News, and wanted to share that article with all of you.
For three years, Metro Community Church held Sunday morning services at a nightclub.
Then the Kelowna congregation found two new buildings which will now house their expanding ministry.
On the first Sunday of March, the church held its regular service in the new building along Highway 97 for the first time. Another building at 1470 Water Street will house Metro Central - a venue out of which the church plans to offer a variety of new services to its members and the community.
Although the church's congregation consists of a mix of people, it is also known as a church for Kelowna's homeless and poor. Their new location may help them provide more for that segment of society.
