If you were at Missions Now 2009, the churches of Kelowna united to focus on two local projects in 2009. One of them was an "extreme makeover" for the Alexandra Gardner Women & Children Safe Centre.
This project involves renovation of a women's and children's shelter. The home houses 24 homeless women and children in Kelowna and is in much need of renovations (including new windows, heat, cooling and clean up).
